Avipro’s executive team is made up of Michel de Spéville, Chairman of the company’s Board of Directors, Cédric de Spéville, CEO of Eclosia Group, and eight other executive and non-executive Group directors who also sit on the Board. Complementing this leadership team is a management team composed of leaders from Avipro’s various entities. These teams bring not only a diversity of capabilities to the table, but also experience in different sectors. They are responsible for ensuring the continuity and sustainability of Mauritius’ very first poultry company.
Founding Chairman of Eclosia Group. Founder and Senator of Junior Chamber International Mauritius (originally known as Jeune Chambre Economique de Maurice). Decorated as “Commander of the Order of the British Empire” (C.B.E). Honorary citizen of the Moka-Flacq district in Mauritius. “Honorary Fellow Agribusiness” from University of Mauritius. Decorated as the Knight of the Order of Merit of Madagascar. Decorated as Knight of the French Legion of Honor (Chevalier de la Légion d’honneur de France). He also serves as Chairman and a member of the Board of Directors of various companies within Eclosia Group, and a member of the Board of Directors of several listed companies.
Michel is also a former President of the Mauritius Chamber of Commerce and Industry and former President of L’Institut de la Francophonie pour l’Entrepreneuriat (IFE), a French tertiary institution focusing on entrepreneurship development.

Mr Cédric de Spéville was a consultant for Confinter in Paris from 2002 to 2003 and joined Eclosia Group in 2003. In January 2013, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Group. He is also a former President of the Mauritius Chamber of Commerce and Industry and of Business Mauritius.
Cédric holds a Master’s degree in Economics from University of Paris (Pantheon-Sorbonne), a Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and a Master’s in Business Administration from Columbia Business School.

Mr Thierry de Speville was appointed General Manager of Avipro Co. Ltd in 2005, before becoming Chief Operating Officer of the Breeding division in 2009.
He became Managing Director of Avipro Co. Ltd in 2019.
Thierry holds an MBA from the University of Surrey and a National Diploma in Poultry Husbandry from Harper Adams Agricultural College in England.
Mr Patrice Doger de Spéville is a partner of the De Speville-Desvaux Chambers. He serves as a litigator and legal counsellor to several companies in the banking, financial, insurance, industrial, commercial and hospitality industries. Former president of the Mauritius Bar Association, Mr Patrice Doger de Spéville was promoted to Principal Council in June 2010 and is currently in charge of the local “New Bar Chronicle”, a journal of the legal profession.
Mr Patrice Doger de Spéville holds a Law degree from the Council of Legal Education School of Law in London, and a Master’s degree in Law. He was called to the Mauritian bar in 1978.
He also sits on the Boards of several companies, including Union Sugar Estate Co. ltd and Southern Cross Tourist Co. Ltd, both of which are listed.
Mr Eric Espitalier-Noël joined ENL Group in 1986 and the Group’s Board of Directors in 1991. He currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of ENL Commercial Limited.
Eric E. Noël holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences and an MBA.

Mr Hector Espitalier-Noël currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of ENL Limited. He is also the Chairman of New Mauritius Hotels and Bel Ombre Sugar Estate Ltd.

An accountant by profession, Mr Noël Eynaud is the Director of Management and Development Company Limited. He was appointed to the Board of Directors of Avipro Co. Ltd in 1978, as well as a member of the Audit and Risk Committee.
My Eynaud is an alternate Director of the Board of Tropical Paradise Co. Ltd and of the Boards of Moulins de La Concorde Ltée and Livestock Feed Ltd, amongst others.
Thierry de Spéville joined Avipro in 1982, in the Farming department. He held several positions of responsibility in this department, before being appointed General Manager of Avipro Co. Ltd in 2005, followed by Chief Operations Officer in the Breeding division in 2009.
In 2019, he was appointed Managing Director of Avipro Co. Ltd.

Christian de Rosnay joined Eclosia Group in 1999 as an accountant up until 2005, followed by the position of Financial Analyst for the Group’s Finance department. He was appointed Avipro’s Finance Director in 2010.
He is a Fellow member of Association of Chat Certified Accountants (FFCA) and holds an ICSA certification.
Didier L’Acariate joined Eclosia Group in 2000 as the Human Resource Manager of Pick ‘n’ Eat Ltd. He was promoted to Director of Human Resources and Investor Relations in July 2003, before joining Avipro Co. Ltd in 2013 as Human Resource Manager.
Mr L’Acariate is also Chairman of Eclosia Workers’ Pension Fund’s Board of Directors and one of seven representatives on Business Mauritius’ National Wage Consultative Council.
Mr L’Acariate represented the MEF on the National Remuneration Board between 2012 and 2015, and at the Training and Employment of Disabled Persons Board from 2011 to 2012.
Didier holds an MBA and a BSc (Hons) in Management.
From 1989 to 2010, Mona Ramasawmy has held several positions within Ciel Textile Group (formerly known as Floreal Knitwear Group), before joining Avipro in 2010 as Marketing Management and Head of Product Development.
Mona holds a Master’s in Computer methods applied to Business Management from Aix Marseille III University.
Mélanie Giraud joined Eclosia in 2003 as Product Development Manager at Panagora Marketing. She was successively promoted to Market & Brand Manager and Market Manager before joining Avipro in July 2013 as the Marketing and Operations Manager of Chantefrais. Since March 2014, she has been serving as Divisional Manager of Chantefrais.
Melanie holds a Higher Technician Certificate (BTS in French) in Marketing and a Master’s in Marketing and Business Management from IDRAC Business School.
Sharon Ng joined Avipro in 2002 in the Farming department. She was responsible for Commercial Hatchery Operations from 2004 to 2009. Since 2010, Sharon has been serving as Technical Project Manager.
Sharon holds a Diploma in Agricultural Engineering from ENITA (the National School of Agricultural Engineering) in France.
Yan de Robillard joined Avipro as Operations Manager of the Processing Plant in 2014. He was promoted to Factory Manager of the Processing Plant in 2017, followed by Plant Manager in 2021.
Yan holds a Master’s degree in Product Systems Engineering (PSE) from Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III and an MBA from Université Panthéon Sorbonne /IAE Paris.
Sarah Buhler joined Avipro as a Management Accountant in 2017.
Sarah holds a Master’s degree in Accounting Control Audit (CCA) and a DSCG diploma (Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Management) in 2014.
Romain Harel joined Avipro in 2008 as Operations Officer on the Aquareve Project. Following this, he took on the roles of Operations & Diversification Manager (Green Valley and Agrifarms 2011-2012) and Breeding Operations Manager between 2013 and 2015.
After spending four years in Madagascar as Director of Operations at Avitech S.A between 2015 and 2019, Romain returned to Avipro in 2020, where he succeeded Yan Coquet as Farming Manager.
Romain holds a Master’s degree in Animal Production (Université Montpellier 2 / CIRAD).
Oliver Mohabeer joined Avipro in 2003 as Quality Officer, before being promoted to Quality Manager in 2008.
Oliver obtained a BSc (Hons) in Food Science and Technology and a MSc in Quality Management with Distinction in 2002 and 2006.
Holder of a Master in Biochemistry from the university of Aix-Marseille and a postgraduate in Food & Nutrition in Montpellier, Nicolas Lamusse spent about ten years at Maurilait Production. After a short passage at the Processing plant of Avipro and at the Corporate Office of Eclosia Group, he became the General Manager of New Maurifoods in 2009. Since August 2022, Nicolas Lamusse is now in charge of the implemention of the poultry projectsof Avipro in Rwanda.
